Research Abstract

I examined the effects of nicaraven to sepsis, using a rat cecal ligation and perforation model. At first, I evaluated whether a nicaraven infusion has beneficial effects to mortality and cardiac dysfunction or not. In the evaluation of cardiac function, I measured cardiac output, cardiac work and cardiac efficiency using a working heart model. Although there are only a few datas, a nicaraven therapy has little beneficial effects to mortality and cardac dysfunction at this time.
