Research Abstract |
For outpatients participating in cancer clinical trials, a self-assessment note was devised to record changes of symptoms and their own concerns, and then applied it to patients. As a result, patients became aware of their changes though recording their symptoms and concerns, and reported it to healthcare professionals, using a self-assessment note at first course. It had psychological effects such as bringing a sense of ease and perceived potential resilience on outpatients participating in cancer clinical trials by recording their own symptoms on a self-assessment note and holding it.
