| Research Abstract |
This study has two parts. First focuses an idea "Athletes" as an example that being them functions employment better and easier. With analyzing the articles of business magazine, "Jitsugyou no Nihon", at that time, revealed that : (1) this concept has its origin during the early Taisho and the early Showa period, (2) because private corporations rise to promotion of sports with the intention of preventing leaving company and of public relations. More, (3) in the era, when there were frequent intense labor movement caused from chronic depression, it became ripe as a warning to leftist ideology, or represent of the moderates.
Second, with a survey for graduates from a certain private university in Hokkaido, it was examined that the extracurricular activity experience effects for graduates' adaptation to work. The result showed that those who participated in college sports activities ("Athletes") tend to gain more income and longer period of one's 1st job.
