Research Abstract |
In this study, gene FISH is developed for environmental microbiology. Two-pass TSA-FISH with oligonucleotide or polynucleotide probes successfully developed for detection of single copy genes in prokaryotic cells. Application of the technique to environmental samples was also successful ; further application of this technique for environmental microbial autecology is possible.
