Research Abstract |
Bridges have not yet designed in consideration of tsunami force. This paper shows a relation between tsunami wave heights and tsunami forces by experiment. Tsunami wave heights was increased 100% compare in case of that there wasn't a bridge. Tsunami wave heights and tsunami forces showed linear relation. The force coefficients were almost constant during tsunami wave height.
