Research Abstract

In vivoマウスBBBを介したPGE_2排出をin vivo実験法を用いて解析した結果、大脳皮質に投与した[^3H]PGE_2は半減期16分で消失し、非標識PGE_2にてその排出は阻害された。血液脳関門にはPGE_2を基質とする輸送担体としてmultidrug resistance-associated protein 4(MRP4)が発現しており、in vitro MRP4 PGE_2輸送を阻害する薬物はマウスへの投与にてin vivo BBBを介した[^3H]PGE_2輸送を阻害された。従って、MRP4を強く阻害する薬物は脳からBBBを介した[^3H]PGE_2排出を阻害し、脳内PGE_2濃度を上昇させる可能性が示唆された。
