Research Abstract |
I investigate the association between inter-individual variability of ss-blocker responsiveness in heart failure and TSP1 Thr523Ala polymorphism. I also perform in vitro functional analysis of TSP1 Thr523Ala. TSP1 Thr523Ala was associated with response to β-blockers in heart failure. Ala-523 TSP1 construct was lower in protein expression and translation efficacy than Thr-523 TSP1 construct.
