Outline of Research at the Start

豊富な群対称性をもった代数多様体の研究である。そのための決まった道具はないため、代数多様体の群対称性を明らかにする試みは、様々な視点からの柔軟なアプローチが不可欠であり、一般論の発展のよい試金石になるとともに、一般論構築の視点を提供するという点でも意味のある研究である。また、そのための研究者交流は欠かせないものとなる。本研究の目的は、国際共同研究を通して、代数多様体の離散的全自己同型群の(非)有限生成性と実形式、錐予想、エントロピー零の無限対称性を有する代数多様体の構造とwildな対称性及び関連する諸問題を、双有理代数幾何、複素・算術力学系、非可換代数等とのかかわりの中で調べることである。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

念願だった国際研究集会"Birational Geometry and Algebraic Dynamics"を研究分担者である、川又雄二郎教授、高木俊輔教授、權業善範教授および中村勇哉先生主催のもと、11月末に一週間の日程で東大数理で開催できたことが最大の成果である。繰り越した科研費は海外講演者招聘のための航空運賃と滞在費に用いた。フィールズ賞受賞者Yau教授を含む3名のZoom講演、日本から3名、欧米から7名、日本を除くアジアから8名の18名の対面による講演があった。Wang氏、Gachet氏らPHDを取ったばかりの若手から、De-Qi Zhang 教授、Jun-Muk Hwang教授、Tien-Cuong Dinh教授といった中堅の世界的一流研究者、Peternell教授、Catanese教授といった重鎮まで幅広い世代の講演があった。テーマは、当該研究課題である双有理代数幾何学と代数力学系、カラビヤウ多様体にまたがる多彩なもので、世代を超えた参加者、講演者間の国際交流や活発な意見交換等有意義な研究集会であった。これ以外の研究成果に、權業教授による向井予想のコホモロジカルな定式化と3次元の場合の解決、繰越のため昨年度と重なる部分があるが、実形式を無限個許容する滑らかな複素有理曲面が存在することの確立(Tien-Cuong Dinh、Xun Yu氏との共同研究、2023年度J.Reine Angew Math.から出版)、及び、更なる進展として、Enriques曲面の1点爆発により、エンリケス曲面と双有理な代数曲面で実形式を無限個有するものの存在、および全自己同型群が非有限生成になるものの存在を示した(Gachet, Dinh, Lin, Wang, Yu氏との共同研究)。最後の結果はAnn. Sc. norm. super. Pisaからの出版が決まっている。

Reason

当該研究計画(コロナ以前に申請)のひとつの大きな目玉であった、双有理代数幾何学、代数力学系、カラビ・ヤウ多様体にまたがる国際研究集会"Birational Geometry and Algebraic Dynamics"を研究分担者である、川又雄二郎教授、高木俊輔教授、權業善範教授および中村勇哉先生主催のもと無事開催できたことは、当初から目標としていた研究計画における大きな成果であった。数学的内容に関しても、当初の目標であった、実形式の非有限性に関する問題は代数曲面の場合にその存在も含め、その第一歩としては十分に満足のいく形で完成できた。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

他方、非有限生成離散全自己同型群をもつ有理曲面の存在は、当該研究の最後の主要未解決問題としてまだ残っている。新たな進展を目指したい。特に、エンリケス曲面の場合に開発した変形理論を用いた構成の有理曲面の場合への応用可能性には見当の余地があると思われる。また、新たな進捗として、3次元カラビヤウ多様体の代数力学系からの研究可能性が見えてきたこと、上野型多様体と呼ばれる多様体の全射自己写像の構造の解明と、その応用として、限られた範囲ではあるが、従来の手法では扱えなかったいくつかの有理連結多様体の場合の川口-Silverman予想への新知見、K3曲面族における正エントロピーの全自己同型群を許容するK3曲面の分布の解析等、今後につながる研究の萌芽がいくつも得られている。これらをさらに精査し論文の形にして公表するとともに、すでに招聘されている、中国、韓国、イタリア、ドイツ等で開催される国際研究集会に参加し口頭発表、他の参加者との議論を行うことで成果発表をおこなうとともに今後につながる新たな知見を得ることを考えている。また、国内における最大の代数幾何学研究集会、城崎代数幾何学シンポジュームに、講演者招聘と当該科研費からの旅費滞在費支給の形で貢献することも決まっている。それ以外にも、小規模ではあるがテーマを絞った国内研究集会の開催を2つ予定している。
