Outline of Research at the Start

政府の「未来投資戦略2018」で求められている次世代モビリティや航空宇宙産業の理論的支柱であるシステム制御理論において,システムが持つ非線形性・不規則性・不連続性・高周波振動性等の複雑な性質を解析し制御設計に役立てる必要がある。本研究課題では,これら複雑な性質を高度複雑信号(ラフ信号)と捉え,その統一表現である非線形ラフシステムに基づく制御理論を提唱する。また,当該理論を電気系・ドローン・宇宙機の制御問題などに応用する。

Outline of Final Research Achievements

On the theoretical side, we have studied the rough systemization of dynamical systems with discontinuous terms and advanced the analysis from the stochastic stability theory aspect, especially on stochastic finite-time stability, stochastic boundedness, and stochastic control barrier functions.
On the application side, we have conducted stochastic safety control design and experiments for a two-wheeled vehicle robot, human assist control design and experiments for an electric wheelchair, and a servo control combining a control barrier function and minimum-time control by promoting stochastic finite-time settling control for rough control of an ultrasonic motor. we have also worked on stochastic safety control of ships and attitude control of spacecraft based on nonlinear stochastic control theory.
These results have been actively presented at international conferences, and some of them were submitted to academic journals.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

政府の「未来投資戦略2018」で求められている次世代モビリティや航空宇宙産業の理論的支柱であるシステム制御理論において,システムが持つ非線形性・不規則性・不連続性・高周波振動性等の複雑な性質を解析し制御設計に役立てる必要がある。本研究課題で得られた非線形制御理論ならびに非線形確率制御理論の各種知見,およびそれらに基づく二輪車両ロボット・電動車椅子・超音波モータのサーボにおける実機実験結果や,自動操船や宇宙機への数値実験は,これら複雑な性質を高度複雑信号(ラフ信号)と捉え,その統一表現である非線形ラフシステムに基づく制御理論を提唱するために必要な基礎的結果であった。
