The research project will explore the interplay between emotional intelligence and neurocognitive performance among language learners using novel questionnaire survey and neuro-cognitive measures.

2023年度は、データ収集を実施した。具体的には、２つの言語学習コンテキスト（英語とそれ以外の第二外国語、もしくは、母語と英語のコンテキスト）に分けて、特性EIとエモーショナルgo-no-goタスクの結果が、動機づけ、不安、学習参加度、努力度、ストレス、バーンアウトなどにどの程度影響をするのかに関して、データを収集した。データ収取法は、１つの大学で、１種類の質問紙（母語と英語のコンテキスト用）とgo-no-go タスクを約１２０名程度に対して実施し、もう１つの大学で、英語とそれ以外の第二外国語に関する質問紙を焼く４３０名程度に実施した。
次年度は、追加でのデータ収集と分析、学会発表等を行う予定である。
