1960年代、若者たちの「叛乱」が国境や社会体制を超え世界共時的に巻き起こった。韓国、中国、日本という異なる社会体制下に生活していたコリアンの学生青年たちも、それぞれの状況下で「叛乱」の渦中にあった。本研究はグローバルヒストリーの観点を取り入れつつ、 中国朝鮮族と在日韓国人学生による1960年代を前後する社会運動に焦点を当て、コリアンエスニックマイノリティのそれぞれの社会運動と思想が相互に、またそれぞれのマジョリティグループ(韓国、中国、日 本)の運動とどのような関連性、差異と共通性を持ちつつ展開され、東アジア現代史の方向性に与えた影響を明らかにする。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Regarding the student movements of Zainichi Koreans after the 1960s, one monograph and three academic papers were published during the research period by the principal investigator and co-researchers. An interim summary was presented at a special session of the 2024 Annual Conference of the Northeast Asian Studies Association. In relation to the activities of Korean students in Japan during the 1950s to 1970s; a topic with limited existing research; the project utilized document analysis, interviews, and surveys to gain a significant amount of new insights.
Regarding the student movements among the Korean-Chinese community in the 1960s, the principal investigator published two academic papers. In these papers, the researcher conducted a brief analysis of the simultaneous emergence of social movements among Korean students and youth in South Korea, Japan, and China during the 1960s, offering a new perspective that had not been explored in previous research.

本研究では、1968年前後に世界で同時多発的に激化した「学生の反乱」について、やはり1960年代後半に展開された韓国学生運動を軸に在日コリアンの韓国系学生運動と中国朝鮮族の文化大革命に焦点を当て、グローバルヒストリ―の観点に則り、1960年代在外コリアン学生運動の原因と展開過程を東アジアの範囲で俯瞰することを目的にした。
移民の末裔である在外コリアンの1960年代史、とりわけ学生運動史は従来の研究蓄積がほとんどなく、当該地域における現代史研究のなかでエポックとなっていた部分である。本研究は、こうした部分の研究に、俯瞰的歴史観を取り入れ新たな方向性を切り開いたといえる。
