Outline of Research at the Start

近年日本では、精神科における非自発的入院の一形態である医療保護入院が2005年の約12万件から2015年の約18万件と相当な増加傾向であり、患者の自己決定や自由意志の尊重という観点からみて看過できない状況が生じている。本研究では、戦後日本の精神科入院における「家族同意にもとづく強制入院」を歴史的に考察するため、現行医療保護入院の制度的前史である精神衛生法下（1950-87）の同意入院についての研究を行う。
