| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究は、＜親と離別した幼児＞（以下：喪失体験児）に対する支援の重要な担い手としての保育士が保育現場でどのような対応をすべきか、という問題意識に立つ。そこで、保育所保育士対象の喪失体験児の実態と保育士の支援の実態に関する質問紙調査を実施し、その結果の分析を踏まえて、保育士対象の喪失体験児のトラウマ体験への「予防的・発達的」視点に立った「グループ表現セラピー」を用いた体験型研修を開発し実施する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Based on a questionnaire survey and an analysis of the "ambiguous loss" theory (Boss, 1999/2005) in the Child Care Guidelines, we found that child care workers can provide support for children who have been separated from their parents, that they can provide support for children who have experienced loss, and that they can provide experiential training within the framework of psychoeducation and the scope of their expertise. The study also clarified the necessity of applying the "ambiguous loss" theory to childcare during a pandemic. An international online symposium was organized to discuss the current situation of children during a pandemic and psychosocial support from the perspective of "ambiguous loss.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
学術的意義の1つ目は、保育士は喪失体験児の援助を担える専門性を備えた専門職であることを明らかにしたこと、2つ目は現職への喪失体験支援に関する心理教育の枠組みを用いた体験型研修を実施したこと、3つ目は”あいまいな喪失”体験支援における保育士が担うべき専門性の範囲を検討したこと、4つ目はパンデミック下における保育分野での”あいまいな喪失”理論(Boss, 1999/2005) の応用の必要性を提示したことである。
社会的意義としては、国際シンポジウムによって、あいまいな喪失体験をした子どもへの心理社会的支援の必要性が国際的視点からも明らかになったことである。
