本研究の目的は、英語教師の質的向上を目指すための実践を共同的に省察するコミュニティのあり方に着目し、他者と実践を共有する上で直面する課題を明らかにし、実践を共有するコミュニティの構築過程メカニズムを整理することで、教師の成長を促すコミュニティのあり方について具体的方策を提案することにある。実践共有コミュニティとは、英語教育における授業実践を共同的に省察する学習共同体と捉え、実践研究を軸にしながら、参加者全員の実践理解や指導改善を目指すものである。成長を促すコミュニティの構造やあり方を整理し提案することは、同僚性を持ち難くなっている学校教育において教師教育の充実化を促す鍵になるものと考える。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study focused on establishing a community where teachers collaboratively reflect on their practice with the aim of improving the quality of English teachers. We made emphasis on practitioner research and clarified the challenges teachers face when sharing their practice with others. Furthermore, we elucidated the mechanisms involved in the process of building a community that shares practice. We believe that organizing and proposing the structure and nature of a community that fosters teacher growth can be a key factor in enhancing teacher education, especially in school settings where collegiality has become increasingly challenging.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
現在、学校教育において、様々な課題があり、教師の日々の実践研究を通して教師成長を促す仕掛けづくりを行うことは急務である。とくに、英語教育では、教師が主体的に行う実践研究は、注目され始めたばかりであり、教師が共同で行う実践共有コミュニティのあり方については十分に議論が行われているとは言えない。本研究成果は、英語教育の実践に留まらず、学校教育における実践全体へ応用しうる示唆を得ることができるものである。
