| Outline of Research at the Start |
近年、日本ではアクティブラーニングの視点に立った授業改善が求められ、古典教育においても様々な試行錯誤がくり返されている。ところで、中国の古典教育では教科書教材とともに豊富な関連教材（例えば同じ作者の他の作品、異なる作者の類似作品、後世の批評や注釈など）を利用した探究・対話型の学習が既に展開されているのであるが、このことは従来あまり知られていない。本研究は関連教材というものの教育的意義を明らかにしながら、中国の古典教育の先進性や柔軟性を応用して、日本の漢文教育に最適化された関連教材を開発しようとするものである。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research aims to develop related teaching materials (e.g. other works by the same author, similar works by different authors, criticisms and commentaries, etc.) optimized for classical Chinese education in Japan. In particular, it is characterized by introducing a perspective of comparison with classical education in China and incorporating its innovation and flexibility. In addition, from the viewpoint of Chinese learning as language education, We tried to evaluate the textbook of "language culture".

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
関連教材自体を対象とする研究は、いわゆる教科書教材の研究に比べると、日中を問わずまだまだ少ない。しかし、新「学習指導要領」（平成30年告示）では、古典の特性として「他の作品」との関係の中で作品を理解する必要性が明示されている。関連教材の研究とはまさにこの点に関わる研究であり、本研究では関連教材が学習者の主体的・対話的な漢文学習にどのように寄与するか、そのメカニズムを明らかにするという成果をあげた。また、漢文が持つ言語教育としての側面に注目し、新科目「言語文化」のあり方についても考察を加えた。これらの成果は、内外の学界に対してタイムリーに知見を提供するものである。
