Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、専門高校における「職業教育の高度化とその実用性」に焦点をあてる。現在、専門高校で進められている大学進学に重点化した取り組みによる専門教育の高度化の実態とその課題について明らかにする。職業教育の高度化が目指す中身と個々の高等教育機関への高度化との対応といった、「職業教育の高等教育化」解明していく。言い換えるならば、「職業教育は、どの程度までの準備をするのか」といった到達目標と中等教育レベルでの職業教育の「不完全型専門教育」といった現実の中で、「職業教育の高等教育化」による「高度化」の内実とその実用性を明らかにするものである。

Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research focused " Advance and practicality of vocational high schools".
The study clarified the challenges of the advancement to college and the advance of vocational education being undertaken by the vocational high schools.
This study clarified three things. (1) Advance of educational contents in agricultural high schools,(2) Trends in high schools that have been restructured or converted from Comprehensive Course to vocational high schools, (3) The current status of Advanced Course in high schools.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

近年の職業教育では知識基盤社会での労働の高度化に対応すべく、高等教育の重視の傾向にある。本研究は、専門高校の専門性とその教育内容の高度化に向けて進める中で、上位校への接続による「高度化」を進めている実態を明らかにした。すなわち「職業活動の高度化」の中身とは何といった、具体的な「高度化」の中身を明らかにした意味は大きい。
