Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では,これまで我々の開発してきた再生核理論の(主に逆問題への)応用手法を医理工分野や産業分野の具体的問題に適用し,効率的な解法アルゴリズムを開発することを目標とする.具体的には,(a) 糸球体細胞画像からの病期判別方法の開発(変性状態から病期を高速・正確に捉える.),(b) 少量放射線による断面情報からの高精度画像再構成法の開発(少量放射線による不鮮明画像から高精度3次元画像を再構成する),(c) 採取シイタケ品質の詳細判別方法の開発 などの問題を扱う予定である.
最終的には現場のPCで簡易に使用できるプログラムを構築して,現場の作業や解析の効率化に寄与することを目的としている.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究課題においては,具体的な問題として,(a) 糸球体細胞画像からの病期判別法の開発,(b) 少量放射線による断面情報からの画像再構成手法の開発,(c) シイタケ品質の判別方法の開発の3つの問題を扱う予定であった.(a)に関して不明瞭な足突起の境界を抽出する方法を開発し,日本医用画像工学会にて公開した.(b),(c)についてデータ収集が困難な状況となり進展していない.しかし,2022年度から開始した血糖値モニターの開発に関して,群馬大学医学部より糖尿病患者のデータが提供されることとなり,これらのデータより学習理論を用いた非侵襲での血糖値予測の手法を開発しつつある.ここで得られた手法を血糖値モニター装置に実装することも計画しており,現在,ある企業とのタイアップを計画しているところである.また,並行して開始された高濃度酸素吸入による脳血流変化データからの高次脳機能の研究においては,酸素有り・無しによる血流変化の様相を統計的にとらえることに成功して,いくつかの論文発表,学会発表を行うことができた..
理論的・数理的研究の実績としては,京都大学数理解析研究所にて再生核理論とチコノフ正則化を用いての線形作用素の制限と拡大について論じることができた.また,ここ数年来行っている再生核理論とゼロ除算の関係の研究については,viXra.orgに8編の論文を投稿した.これらについては,諸外国からいくつもの反応があり,我々の創始したこれらの理論に関して斯界における理解も広がってきていることを実感している.

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.

Reason

2023年度は群馬大学病院より血糖値モニタリングのための手法開発に関連して,糖尿病患者のデータが得られ,我々の方法を用いることにより,非接触での血糖値の推定法に関していくつかの知見が得られた.これらの知見を用いて,血糖値モニター開発についても,見通しがついてきた.また,脳の高次元機能についての研究,糸球体上皮細胞の画像解析,超音波による血栓溶解に関しても数編の論文を出すことができた.
理論的・数理的研究に関しては,再生核理論に関するRIMS研究会での報告,再生核理論研究より派生したゼロ除算に関して8編の論文を公にすることができた.
これらのことより,理論・応用の両面から「おおむね順調に進展している」と判断した.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

2023年度は群馬大学医学部,東京都立大学から(十分な量ではないが)医療データの提供が得られた.また,2022年3月より参加している血糖値モニタリングのための測定機器,関連ソフトの開発に関しては,群馬大学病院より糖尿病患者データを継続的に提供していただくことができた.さらに2023年度後半からは,試作機を用いて糖尿病患者(糖尿病Ⅰ型,Ⅱ型)のデータも採取することができた.これらのデータを用いて非侵襲の血糖値モニターの手法開発と計測実機への実装を急ぐ予定である.また,この研究開発・解析の段階で得られた成果や知見を(特許も視野に入れているので,可能な範囲で)公表して,斯界に貢献したいと考えている.
理論的・数理的研究としては,ゼロ除算と再生核理論の関係をより深く明らかにして,斯界での理解と広がりを図りたいと考えている.
