Outline of Research at the Start

最近になって、従来の修正重力理論の枠組を大きく拡げるいくつかのアイデアが提唱された。本研究では、これらの新しく拡張された重力理論を3つのカテゴリに分け、(i) 汎用性の高い修正重力用ボルツマンコードの開発、宇宙論的観測からの制限; (ii) ブラックホール摂動による安定性の判定、重力セクターのパリティ対称性の破れに対する制限; (iii) 一般的な計量アフィン重力の力学的自由度同定のためのハミルトニアン解析といった、それぞれの理論の特徴や研究の発展段階に適合した適切な研究課題を設定し、修正重力理論の妥当性の判定・検証を進めていく。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、2つのテンソル自由度を持つ空間的共変重力において、静的かつ球対称なブラックホール解の周りの線形摂動を調査しました。この理論では、重力の修正は外在曲率のトレースであるKの係数に現れる時間依存の関数によって特徴付けられます。
奇パリティ摂動に対する二次作用は、適切な座標変換を行うことで一般相対性理論と同一であることが示されました。また、偶パリティ摂動に対する二次作用も導出されました。このセクターでは、2つのテンソル自由度のうちの1つが瞬間的スカラーモードと混合し、一般相対性理論とは異なるシステムを形成します。モノポールおよびダイポール摂動は、瞬間的スカラーモードのみで構成されており、ユニバーサルホライゾンと無限遠の両方で正則な解は存在しません。
本研究では、内部境界の位置を慎重に扱うことにより、高次多極子の定常摂動も調査しました。この場合も、内部境界と無限遠の両方で正則な解は存在しないことが示され、我々が考慮したブラックホール解が摂動的にユニークであることが確認されました。
また、瞬間的モードを持つ高次スカラーテンソル理論が、危険なモードを含んでいるように見えてもオストログラツキー不安定性を引き起こさないことを示しました。U-DHOST理論と呼ばれます。
U-DHOST理論において、非相対論的物質分布によって供給された弱い重力場を研究しました。完全に退化した理論のケースと異なり、そこで非線形導関数相互作用がVainshtein機構の部分的な破壊を示すために重要であるのに対し、一般的なU-DHOST理論では線形解析が弱い重力場に十分であることを示しました。そして、太陽系テストを回避し、重力波が光速で伝播するU-DHOST理論のサブセットを特定しました。
