集中治療領域で生じるせん妄の、急性に生じる脳の臓器障害である。成人で集中治療室 (ICU) に入室した患者の1/3に生じる重要な合併症のひとつである。死亡率の上昇や長期的な認知機能の 低下との関連性が報告されている。しかし、小児で、まだその実態は明らかでなく、せん妄と同様 のアプローチで、急性脳傷害としてのせん妄を測定できているかは不明である。小児せん妄の実態 を明らかにするために本研究を施行する

| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
筑波大学附属病院PICUでのせん妄の実態調査結果について、学会発表を行った(European Society of Intensive Care Medicine Annual Congress, 日本集中治療医学会学術集会)。現在論文執筆中である。
また、多施設研究の結果についても解析を行い、論文投稿準備中である。

プロジェクトA：学会発表を行った(Yuki Enomoto 36th European Society of Intensive Care Medicine Annual Congress, 榎本有希ら, 2024 日本集中治療医学会学術集会)学会発表の結果をもとに、現在論文執筆の準備を行なっている。
プロジェクトB：新型コロナウイルス のためまだ終了してないが、プロジェクトAの結果を踏まえて現在追跡調査を追加して行っている。
プロジェクトC：現在追加解析と論文投稿準備中である

研究結果は概ねえられているため、次年度は解析をすすめ論文投稿を行う予定である。
