| Outline of Research at the Start |
国内大手新聞社の全国紙を対象に、各新聞社のデータベースを用い、2010年～2019年の我が国のDV・デートDV報道内容を分析する。その結果を踏まえ、暴力被害を受けた際に自ら問題を解決しようと他者に援助を求める援助要請行動への動機付けを高める教育内容・方法・教材等を検討する。そして、開発中の大学生を対象としたデートDV予防教育プログラムと援助要請行動への動機づけを高める支援を一体化した教育プログラムを開発し、その効果を検証する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have developed an educational program that integrates violence prevention among young people in intimate relationships with a high risk of leading to serious domestic violence in the future, and support to increase motivation to seek assistance from others to resolve problems when violence occurs. The program consists of the following components: 1) accurate knowledge about violence, 2) the underlying causes of violence, 3) key theories related to violence, 4) the serious consequences of violence, 5) reasons for remaining in violent relationships or engaging in violent behavior, 6) seeking assistance when experiencing violence, and 7) local support systems. The program is delivered through lectures and group work, with each session lasting 90 minutes.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
国内では大学生を対象としたデートDV予防教育プログラムに関する研究報告は少ない。本研究は、「デートDV予防と被害者の援助要請行動を促進する具体的方法を提示できること」を提示している。本研究成果は、デートDV予防教育プログラムが中学生から大学生まで「発達段階に応じたデートDV予防教育プログラムの骨格」となるものであり、将来的に「教育現場での活用」を目指している。
