Outline of Research at the Start

車両に最新の多様なIoTセンサを搭載し、これらのセンサデータを周期的に車載サーバに取込み、AI技術により道路状況を迅速かつ的確に判断し、その結果を異種規格の無線多重による先進的な車車間や車路間通信方法によって相互に交換・伝達することにより、道路状況の危険個所を事前に把握して車両間で共有し、リアルタイムに注意喚起を可能とする.さらにこれら道路状況情報に加え、広域の気象メッシュデータをクラウドに集積しビッグデータとして解析し、現時刻から先の道路状況を広域に予測できる道路状況ビッグデータGISシステムの開発に挑戦し、公共交通機関との連携による社会実験を通して有用性をあきらかにする

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2023年度は、昨年度まで開発した道路状況情報プラットフォームを実際に、積雪凍結地域である秋田県上小阿仁村で実施している自動運転事業に適用し、実際に社会実験を行い、積雪状態での走行を行い、その際、定性評価として路面の判定精度(凍結、積雪、シャーベット、雨路、湿路、乾燥路)を評価した。また定量評価としは、路面状態のラフネス、摩擦係数を測定した。その結果、路面の判定精度としては、実際の人間により道路状況の判断結果と同様、ほぼ100%に近い判定精度を得ることが可能となった。また摩擦係数やラフネスの評価においても、道路の危険個所のみの部分領域においては、人間の判断と同等の判定が可能であることを可能とした。しかしながら、正確な定量評価が出来なかったので、今後は、公的なテストコースにおいて評価をすることとした。
一方、車路間通信(V2X)においても。上小阿仁村の自動運転に。新たに遠隔監視室を構築し、遠隔監視室と自動運転車両の間で、SIMボンディングによる車路間通信環境を構築し、実際に車両周囲の自動運転状況をリアルタイムで送信し、監視室モニター上に表示させるシステムを実現した。その結果遠隔監視室よりリアルタイムでの遠隔監視が可能であることを実証できた。これらの成果は、国際会議AINA2024に2編の論文が採択され、発表した結果、自動運転の実証実験として高い評価を得た。研究の主な成果は以下の通りである。

路面状況情報プラットフォームおよび車路間通信技術の双方において、実際の自動運転車に搭載し、その機能および性能の面で実証することができ、成果を達成できたことから、おおむね順当に研究を進展させることが出来た

Strategy for Future Research Activity

路面状況情報プラットフォームにおいては、本センシングデータに加えて、公的機関の気象データ(気象庁、農研機構等)によりビッグデータ化し、クラウドにビッグデータ化し、子AI技術により時空間予測システムを開発し、これらの予測結果と実際の道路状況を比較検討により時空間予測システムの予測精度を評価する。さらにこれらのリアルタイムデータと予測データを一般公開して、積雪・凍結地域の安全・安心運転に寄与する。さらに、本プラットフォームの予測データを先読みデータとして自動運転の運転制御に利用可能なシステムの開発および評価を行う予定である。
