Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、日常利用できるIoTシステムをベースとし、災害発生後二日~一週間持続可能な緊急ネットワークを構築するための基盤技術を研究開発することである。提案する平時・緊急時両用のIoTシステムは次の三つのレイヤーで構成される。
1. 平時に使用できるIoTデバイスに緊急通信用のモジュールを搭載し、災害発生後はIoTハブとしてユーザデバイスに通信サービスを提供する。
2. 各IoTデバイスを接続し、サブネットワークを構築してローカルエリアの通信をカバーする。
3. IoTデバイス向けのLPWANネットワークを利用して、サブネットワークに長距離インターネット接続を提供する。

Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research propose a disaster-resistant IoT system that can be used both during normal times and in disaster situations. By building this IoT system, the IoT devices can provide general services during normal times and emergency services during disasters. Based on efficient energy optimization, the devices can operate for nearly a week after the power supply is interrupted. Additionally, this system can provide AI services during disasters with acceptable energy consumption.

本研究は、災害時における通信維持という重要課題に取り組むことで、学術的および社会的意義を持つ。学術的には、平時と緊急時の両用機能できる革新的な耐災害IoTシステムを提案し、エネルギー効率の高いデバイスとネットワークの設計を進展させた。社会的には、このシステムが災害対応能力を向上させ、信頼性の高い通信とAIサービスを提供することで、生命の保護と緊急管理の改善に貢献する。これらの成果は高影響の学術誌で発表された。
