Outline of Research at the Start

エネルギーの低減や地震等の事故時の安全性向上のため、構造用材料における更なる高強度化が求められている。先進構造材料には、高強度だけでなく、優れた加工性や衝撃エネルギー吸収も要求され、高強度と延性・加工性・靭性の両方を兼ね備える必要がある。一方で、軟質なフェライト相と硬質なマルテンサイト相が混在する Dual Phase (DP)鋼は高い強度とともに良好な成形性を示すため、実用材として幅広く使用されているが、その優れた力学特性の原因は明らかになっていない。本研究では画像相関法を応用した応力可視化手法でDP鋼中の各相のミクロ局所ひずみ・局所応力を定量化し、DP鋼が示す不均一変形の本質を解明する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

軟質なフェライト相と硬質なマルテンサイト相からなる二相鋼 (Dual Phase (DP))鋼は高強度・高延性とともに高い加工硬化能を示す代表的な先進高強度鋼の一つとして注目を集めている。単相材料は結晶粒微細化によって更なる高強度が実現される一方、延性が大きく低下してしまう欠点を示すのに対して、DP鋼においては結晶粒微細化により強度のみならず延性も大幅に向上する興味深い結果が得られた。近年、画像相関法という先端ひずみ解析手法より、微細粒DP材は軟質相/ 硬質相間のひずみの差が小さく両相がより均一に変形することが明らかになっている。しかしながら、結晶粒微細化による変形不均一性の緩和機構について十分に理解されていない。
本研究は、この課題に関して局所ひずみ(変形)だけでなく、両相間の力学的相互作用を考慮した応力分布（各相の内部応力の分布）をミクロ組織レベルで調査し、DP鋼の優れた力学特性の本質を理解することを目的としている。画像相関法を応用したミクロ応力可視化手法を用いて10μm程度の平均フェライト粒径を有するDP材におけるマイクロボイド周辺のミクロ応力可視化に成功し、マイクロボイドの形成前後に応力・ひずみ分布が大きく変化することが明らかになった。今後変形中マルテンサイト変態が生じるTransformation induced plasticity (TRIP)鋼を用い、マルテンサイト変態前後の応力分布を調査することにより変形誘起マルテンサイト変態の素過程とその粒径依存性を明らかにする。
また、多結晶Mg合金における変形不均一性について結晶粒界近傍の局所応力分布を定量評価しMg合金の低延性を粒界応力集中と関連して詳細に調べる。
