Outline of Research at the Start

本研究課題では,不確かさを含む動的環境内でロボット群を協調させることで,自律性および安全性を向上させる分散制御システムを構築する.まず,環境内に未知の運動をする障害物が存在する状況下で,ドローン群に搭載されたセンサから部分的に得られる情報をもとに障害物の運動をガウス過程回帰により学習する.つづいて,ドローン群により地上ロボットの周辺環境を観測しつつ学習結果を用いて障害物の運動を予測することで,地上ロボットだけでは達成できない高い自律性および安全性を備えた制御アルゴリズムを提案する.また,実時間システムへと適用可能であることを検証するために実験システムを構築し,提案アルゴリズムを検証する.

Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research project aims to construct an autonomous cooperative control system for a group of robots based on real-time optimization considering uncertainty. For 1. we proposed a method to learn an environmental model, and for 2. we proposed an algorithm to avoid obstacles while observing the target object with multiple robots. For 3, we constructed an experimental system using obstacles and verified the algorithm. We also constructed a similar environment in a virtual space.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

システムの自律化は自動運転を始めとした高度システムを社会に実装していく上で欠かせない技術である.本研究は特にロボットに注目し,構造化されていない不確かさのある環境内でロボットを自律的に制御する自律化制御の基礎構築に貢献した.本研究において,機械学習と複数台ロボットの協調により環境の不確かさに頑健なシステム構築を目指した点に学術的意義がある.また,基礎理論を構築するだけでなく,その実装可能性を実験およびシミュレーションにより検証した点に社会的意義がある.
