Outline of Research at the Start |
The novel dual-sigmoidal type recrystallization in HS material may lead to the new concept of microstructure and properties optimization. Study of microstructure evolution and its mechanism in such complex microstructure matrix having novel arrangement of fine and coarse grains would be a significant breakthrough in designing advanced engineering materials.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The preferential recrystalization phenomenon were analyzed via thermo-mechanical process (TMP). TMP results in a peculiar preferential recrystallization localized in Shell region of the HS-Ti owing to the preferential strain localization in shell during plastic deformation. This successfully led to superior properties. The study was successfully accomplished with 4 journal papers and 2 conferences.
