Outline of Research at the Start |
1. Investigating the data routing issues over intelligent gateways. 2. Enhancing the TCP/NC and its tunneling based on realistic simulation. 3. Designing the complete architecture of the intelligent gateway system for edge-cloud system. 4. Implementing a prototype of the intelligent gateway.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
This research focuses on improving the data transfer performance in the lossy and congestion network which is characteristic of the IoT heterogeneous network. We proposed and evaluated the new dynamic adaptation TCP/NC gateway on such networks that can establish the tunnel between the suitable pair of gateways dynamically based on the network status to avoid make the network congestion become worse and improve the data transfer performance. We also participated in some experiments on the Hypercube overlay network, TDMA-based scheduling for multi-hop wireless sensor networks, and optimizing measurement in locating high packet-delay variance links for OpenFlow networks. Due to the time limitation, those researches are only the initial research but it has potential for the next future.
