| Outline of Research at the Start |
ストリートは井戸端会議に見られる様に、従来、人が停留でき、密接に交わる、社会的に重要な場所であり、貧困層にとっては生活資源の１つだった。やがてそれは消費のための空間か、移動のための空間に意味を切り詰められたが、ストリートがどのような空間であるかは、人々、特に貧困層にとっていまだに重要である。しかしどのような仕方でそうした豊かな空間が可能になっているのかは十分に明らかにされていない。そこで本研究はネパールのストリートとその場所をめぐる社会運動を事例に、貧困層の共同性と停留を許すストリートのあり方を人類学的に分析し、ストリートが貧困層や人間社会にとってもつ意味の認識を深めることを目的にしている。

2023年3月に行った現地調査のデータ整理・分析を行なっているが進捗は大幅に遅れている。

調査によって明らかになったことで研究の枠組みを大幅に変更する必要が生じている。またそれによって査読投稿中の論文修正のために必要な概念整理に時間を要しているため。

今年度までほぼ成果を出せていないことに強い危機感を覚えている。研究時間の確保に大きな課題があるが、今後は研究時間の確保を優先し査読修正中の論文修正を急ぎたい。
