First 3 months is to identify specific themes and develop survey Field work will be preferably done during the tourism off season to improve response rates from the tourism industry. Usually in fall or winter. Rugby based events need to be done ASAP due to the recency of the Rugby world cup.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
Our research on the impacts of mega-events, such as the Olympics, on tourism recovery was significantly impacted by the spread of COVID-19. However our research results have produced a framework that can assist host destinations on how to better manage future crises during tourism events.
