Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の仮説は，日常言語の違いによって，数学授業における証明や説明，議論などの「数学的な言語活動」の様式が，国や地域によって大きく異なり，それが数学学習の過程や結果に本質的な影響を及ぼす，ということである。この仮説を検証するために，海外共同研究者と協働して，比較文化的視点から国際比較を可能とする研究方法論を構築し，複数の国の授業における「数学的な言語活動」の分析を行う。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本国際共同研究全体の目的は，数学授業における「数学的な言語活動」に影響を及ぼす日常言語の特徴を国際比較研究により実証的に明らかにすることである。この目的を達成するために，ドイツ・ブレーメン大学とノルウェー・アグデル大学の海外共同研究者，国内研究分担者とともに国際共同研究を推進している。
2023年度は，11月に海外研究機関(ブレーメン大学)へ研究代表者及び研究分担者1名が訪問し，日本とドイツの授業データに関する国際比較分析を推進するとともに，講演やセミナーを行うことができた。また，7 月にはハンガリー・ブダペストで開催された第13回欧州数学教育学会国際会議(CERME13)のTWG1 (Argumentation and Proof)において，2022年度までに本プロジェクトで進めてきた研究成果の一部(理論的枠組みに基づく証明授業の文化的側面の分析)を発表した。さらに，9月には日本科学教育学会第47回例会において課題研究発表を行い，アーギュメンテーションの国際比較に向けた理論的視点と方法論，教科書とカリキュラムに関する比較分析の成果（4つの研究発表）を報告した。
2023年3月下旬から4月上旬にはブレーメン大学から共同研究者2名を招聘し共同研究活動を推進するとともに，年間を通して多くのオンラインミーティングを行った。 2024年3月には国内研究集会を対面で開催し，2023年度までの本プロジェクトの成果発信の内容と方法について共通理解を図るとともに，2024年度の国際的な共同研究活動の計画について協議した。

Reason

海外研究機関への訪問や海外研究者の招聘を実施し，日本とドイツの国際比較分析を国内外の研究者と協働的に進めることができている。また，研究成果の一部を国際学会及び国内学会で発表することもできたことから，現在までの進捗状況は「概ね順調に進展している」と判断される。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

2024年度は本科研の最終年度となるため，今後は，これまで進めてきたカリキュラムと教科書の国際比較に加え，ドイツと日本の数学授業の比較分析の成果をまとめ，国内外の学会や論文等で発信する予定である。これまでの国際共同研究から得られた知見や成果について国内外の共同研究者と共通理解を図りながら成果発信を推進していく。
