Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は台湾所蔵近現代中国「地方文献」に関する史料学的研究である。この「地方文献」とは「県等の地域社会において独自に編集・発行された地域社会の様相を示した文献」であり、中国現地での史料収集やアーカイブ利用が困難になりつつある近年、注目されている。
本研究は、台湾に滞在しつつ、(1)台湾に大量に所蔵される、近現代中国「地方文献」の発掘・所蔵調査と、(2)上記(1)により入手した、台湾における近現代中国「地方文献」の史料学的研究を行うことで、その史料学的位置を定める、という二点に重点をおく。このことによって、現地調査ができない時代における、中国研究の史資料面での古くて新しい挑戦を行う。
