Research Abstract |
The elution of calcium from six alternative materials could be explained by the contact with seawater, the base of simulation model for some impact statements could be developed on the basis of the elution phenomenon. It was found that the pressure injection of dredged slurry can be cost-effective and practical as a construction method of artificial tidal flats. The effects onto the settlement of Ruditapes philippinarum larvae, the mortality and growth rate of fry of its shellfish, biofilms on surrounding sand and the germination and root establishment of eelgrass could be clarified.
