| Research Abstract |
During the five years program, geological fieldworks for entire the Asian continent, metamorphic and igneous petrological investigations, and advanced isotope geochronological analyses have been carried out to understand the "Evolution process of collision tectonics during the Asian continental growth". Related Gondwana tectonics and East Asian tectonics prior to Japan sea opening were also studied. Results are published as 51 journal papers and presented as many oral presentations including invited talks.
