Research Abstract |
New methods with high sensitivity, such as a capillary-based enzyme sensor, array-type immune sensing, lipid bilayer sensors, and an imaging method with high spatiotemporal resolution have been developed for brain substances, especially neurotransmitters, and some of them were applied to acute brain slices for elucidating neuronal signal transduction mechanisms.
