Research Abstract |
For the evaluation of ship's performance in actual-sea environment, a numerical method to reproduce irregular wave fields with given sea conditions has been developed. The use of an overlapping mesh technique which employs overlapped multiple mesh blocks makes it possible to simulate ship flows in irregular waves.
