Research Abstract |
We succeeded in developing techniques for effective internalization of quantum-dots(Q-dots) to mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs). We examined in vitro and in vivo effects of the internalization of Q-dots to MSCs, with using osteogenic, adipogenic, chondrogenic induction. In vitro results suggested negligible effect on each differentiation by the internalization, in vivo results indicated a long term tracking observation for over 8 weeks for bone regeneration model and over 24 weeks for cartilage regeneration model.
