Research Abstract |
This research is aiming at developing techniques whereby extracting as much information as possible from images taken by surveillance cameras in crime investigations. It includes an image restoration technique accounting for space variant PSF and non-linearity, color information restoration from black-and-white images, and license plate reading from a very low-resolution image.
