Research Abstract |
Traditional music, ex. Tsugaru-shamisen like fretless music instruments, should be preserved as scores which avoids relying solely on the oral transmission of this music to the young followers. We have produced an "Electric Shamisen" and automatic scoring equipment, which automatically records scores from the sound resources by analyzing frequencies of the music notes.
