Research Abstract |
Many intracellular signaling events are regulated by Ca^<2+> signals in neurons. It has also been reported that these events are accompanied by generation of reactive oxygen species. Here, we show that oxidation and Ca^<2+> signals are mutual regulated in cells. We propose that oxidation stress might regulate neuronal function via cross-talk with Ca^<2+> signals.
