| Research Abstract |
The current status of public and private shelters in Japan as well as that in Denmark as an advanced example has been analyzed as a basic data to improve shelter space criteria for victims of domestic abuse and violence in Japan. Even though specific criteria for shelter space haven't been established in Denmark, it has been proved that safety and day-todayness have been integrated by improving privacy, space and care for children to be able to live a normal life while publicizing their addresses in principle except for two shelters.
