Research Abstract |
We have developed the"Food hygiene and food safety"curriculum for three years including experiments on hygiene and cooking which was based on the Theory of Planned Behavior. International exchange lessons were conducted as part of this curriculum between the Thai and Japanese junior high school students with the HyperMirror system. The knowledge scores were raised and self-efficacy of sanitary hand washing, food choice according to food labels and cooking was improved after the education. It was effective for the students to learn with those in a remote place by means of HyperMirror where they appeared on the same screen simultaneously and took part in the same class. They improved their behavior by having more interests and confidence that led to positive intention.
