Research Abstract |
1. Driving force of RCE Case studies on RCE Greater Sendai and RCE Okayama revealed that the major driving force of RCEs was the authorization and strengthening of existing initiatives on ESD, rather than new activities. 2. Effects of ESD on learning ability Case studies on schools revealed that students could strengthen the ability to respect nature, understand linkage with the local communities and other parts of the world, improve communication skills, etc. through ESD.
