Research Abstract |
Ga/H-ZSM-5 zeolite has been found to be a high performance catalyst for the catalytic degradation of polyolefins containing small amounts of PVC, nylon 6, and polystyrene into aromatic hydrocarbons. A good performance was especially observed in the presence of both PVC and nylon. Ga/H-ZSM-5 further showed an excellent catalytic activity for co-processing of polystyrene and polypropylene.
