| Research Abstract |
We have made a Japanese translation of first three chapters of Pram. nav. rttika, a major work by Dharmak. rti, a Mah. y. na-Buddhist logician, which chapters deal with logics, religion, and epistemology respectively, and had great impacts on religious-philosophical thoughts in India, together with rGyal-tsab Darma-rin-chen's Thar-lam-gsal-byed, the most influencial commentary on Pram. nav. rttika in Tibet, referring to several commentaries in India and Tibet in its detailed footnotes.
