Research Abstract |
Firstly, to put over 4000 talismans belonged to Harada family in order, I made the database and finished to take pictures of them. Examining the database, it can be clear that the amount and the style of talismans changes drastically since the Meiji restoration. Also it can be said that talismans of religious specialists in remote big temples lessened, on the contrary those of neighborhood temples and shrines increased since then. Secondly, I could gather historical materials to know wandering monks named Yugy. sy. nin who had visited Owari to contact with the local government as well as Yamabushi monks in Hikosan. Thirdly, I held the study meetings and talking on female religious specialists and shamans. Furthermore, I could translate a historical document on religious policy of the Owari government and make clear that their reaction to outsiders was more severe than that of insiders
