Research Abstract |
This research project developed a web-based study-aid system for supporting the Japanese university students to write papers in English, based on analyses of the students written corpora. The system was mounted with a cross-reference platfo rm composed of four main parts : A sentence search concordance, a tutorial site which provides instructions for mastering how to use"transitional word(s)","modal adverbs", etc., a we b-dictionary, and a search site of native speaker's corpora.
