Research Abstract |
This research focuses on chief military officers’ national design and their world strategies to reveal how the Japanese Imperial Army in pre-war period developed their policies on China. It also discusses changing Sino-Japanese relations and world situations. Furthermore, ultimate factor in Japan’s road to the Pacific War is re-examined from a new perspective.
