Research Abstract |
The following are the most important results of this research project. First, in theinternational transmission of U.S. Force transformation, contacts (socialization) havingoccurred since 2002 between the Office of Force Transformation, the U.S. Department ofDefense and its counterparts of the allies played an important role. Second, the necessityto enhance interoperability with U.S. Forces promoted the acceptance of transformationby the allied nations. Third, the allies partially accepted and modified U.S.transformation in a way that suits their military organization cultures and budgetaryconstraints.
