Research Abstract |
From the standpoint of view of 'nationalization', we tried to investigate what kind of changes dam development projects had brought to mountain villages and forestry in prewar and postwar Japan. As for the theoretical study of 'nationalization', we tried to investigate the relationship between 'nationalization' and 'modernization'. In the process of the investigation, we arrived at the idea that history up to modern days can be characterized as 'increasing dominance of action over existences'.
