Research Abstract |
New types of labor unions, community unions in Japan and regional general unions in Korea have put community unionism into practice. Community unionism in Japan and Korea, unlike its counterpart in North America and Britain, incorporates labor union functions. Despite this common feature, an important difference is the greater degree of labor-community coalition development in Korea.
