Research Abstract |
In Japan, the population of young has been decreasing since the mid-1970s. In these circumstance, small-scale high school in de-populated areas have been closed. However, this makes it impossible for students who live in those areas to attend high school from their home. In response to this, small-scale high-schools have started to introduce reform whereby they try to operate in concert with the local industry and community.
